Whiskey and Ginger is a husband and wife duo from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The couple, Zach and Rebecca Reeder, are each lifelong music fans, each having some performing and recording experience before joining forces in 2017.

Rebecca has a love for perceived contrasts that come together in beautiful ways. Whether that be in the lyrics, creating visceral imagery and complex emotions, or in the way that the vocals strike the listener as very independent, and yet somehow they come together to create a sound that is whole and unified.

Supporting these beautiful harmonies and vivid lyrics are a variety of instrumentations, most of them rooted in Zach’s guitar playing. Zach has been a lifelong freelance guitarist and a composer/arranger. He is also behind every Whiskey and Ginger recording as engineer and producer, working from his home recording studio to expertly craft every sound of each song.

The group loves all things simple and beautiful, but full of complicated nuances. The music that Whiskey and Ginger creates is never too ornate or busy, but full of the most subtle and nuanced complexities.
